- In this episode, Nick and Diana discuss the topics we have to cover in the catechumenate.
- In the “Did you know?” segment, we point out that the length of the catechumenate varies, depending upon the circumstances of your catechumens.
- Finally, we answer a listener’s question about annulments, confirmation, and reception into full communion
I just finished listening to the Pod cast. Thank you for these Pod Casts I really enjoy them. I just wanted to comment on the question about the wife how wanted to received Confirmation and husband who was a Presbyterian and wanted to become Catholic but had a first marriage.
The one thing that I did not hear you say was that after the husband receives the annulment (providing he does!) that the marriage has to be con-validated before the wife can receive her Confirmation. At this time she as a Catholic is living in a invalid Marriage.
Also, I am glad I didn’t listen to this podcast as a new catechist because I would have said, “Oh no! this is too hard!” Ha Ha, Sincerely, Maureen Smith
