Hello. I have just listened to the Episode 5 podcast and I am writing to let you know that your website and what you do helps me a great deal in being connected and having a place to go for information as an RCIA Director. I do not feel as isolatedas I felt last year when I took my class through the two year program. Serendipity there, since I proclaimed I could not do a good job if I didn’t have that much time. I am a retired school teacher. Usually, I listen to your podcasts and read through your articles — and I take what I need, never having responded to you before today. I can see that this podcast has pointed the importance of becoming connected both ways which might be defined or lead to some kind of relationship. And I can understand how wonderful it would be if we could learn to use the social media in the broader parish life to connect to members (and perhaps new people) to form warmth and a welcoming environment around parish life, and to meet their needs. It would be huge if we could do it. Thank you for the enlightenment.
Hi Priscilla. I’m glad to hear that the website is a help to you. Having a connection to someone is so important in this ministry. Thanks for letting us know that you made a connection through TeamRCIA. Blessings on all your ministry.
