  1. Yes! Constraints always force one to decide what matters the most. In my case I’d really like to have two years with my catechism class instead of just one. But one is all I get. Not only does that time restraint force me to pare down to what’s absolutely important, but also to effectively use every minute of every class.

  2. Breaking Open the Word was a challenge during the Catechumenate. I could not, nor should not be the only one to be with the Catechumens. In considering who could I ask to help, I realized our parish lectors are Ministers of the Word, and hopefully spend prayer time considering how the Word impacts their life. They wonderfully responded to my request to take part in leading the faith-sharing that accompanies the Dismissal from the Sunday liturgy during this Period.
