Now I’d like to promise you that the book I’ve written is that one resource. But I can’t do that. I don’t think any one book can answer every question you have and every situation that will come up. But here is what I can promise.

If you follow the guidelines I offer in The Way of Faith: A Field Guide for the RCIA Process, you will transform the way your parish does initiation.

While this book may not have an answer every possible situation you will encounter, here is what it does do:

• The Way of Faith covers every aspect of parish catechumenate ministry that I could think of.
• It helps you make a plan and implement a process in a clear and understandable way.
• And it provides all the immediate help that my eager-but-not-too-seasoned younger self was in desperate need of when I started out.
