To this day, the Church still refrains from singing &#8220;Alleluia&#8221; during Lent and waits in anticipation of singing it again fully at Easter.</p>
<p>The Church no longer buries the Alleluia, but it does spend the last week before Lent singing lots of Alleluias. So on this Mardi Gras, the last chance to sing an Alleluia, here&#8217;s one that all people, regardless of singing talent, can join in. Happy Fat Tuesday everyone!</p>
